Quick answers for the main Fragmo workflow, file support, editing, and export.
Getting started
Add source files
Click Add Files… and choose the files you want to work with. Fragmo is designed for PDFs, Word documents, and images.
Add a selection to your Collection
Open a source, select the text you want to keep, then click Add Selection. The new fragment appears in your Collection on the right.
Build your draft
Use the Collection to put the useful fragments into a sensible order. Switch to Preview & Edit to turn the collection into editable text.
Editing and export
In Preview & Edit you can adjust structure and formatting before exporting your finished text.
- Plain Text (.txt)
- Word Document (.docx)
- PDF Document (.pdf)
If you want to rebuild the draft from the current Collection, use Reset from Snippets.
Account and files
Fragmo does not require a Fragmo account or sign-in. You choose the files you want to open on your Mac and remain in control of those source files.
